General Questions

SmartAqua is a subscription-based smart water purifier service. You don’t buy the purifier, you subscribe to clean, safe drinking water with zero maintenance responsibility.

It’s a service. The purifier is provided as part of your subscription, and SmartAqua manages installation, maintenance, filters, and repairs.

SmartAqua is currently available in select cities and expanding rapidly. Availability is shown inikethe app during signup.

Installation & Setup

Download the SmartAqua app, sign up using OTP, choose the plan, make payment, and schedule installation.

Installation is usually completed within 1–3 working days after payment and verification.

Installation is done by trained and authorized SmartAqua technicians only.

Wi-Fi is required during installation for device activation. Ongoing usage does not require continuous Wi-Fi.

Subscription & Pricing

 ₹399 per month (GST included).

Yes, a one-time ₹2,500 refundable hardware deposit.

Yes. The full deposit is refunded when the purifier is collected back in good condition.

No. There are no AMC charges, no service charges, and no filter replacement costs.

 No long-term contracts. You can cancel anytime.

Water Quality & Purification

SmartAqua uses a 7-stage purification system including RO and in-tank UV protection.

Yes. The system is designed for safe daily consumption for all age groups.

Yes. SmartAqua is designed for Indian water conditions, including borewell and municipal supply.

Water quality is balanced for taste and safety. Specific mineralization depends on local water conditions.

Maintenance & Service

SmartAqua handles all maintenance, servicing, and repairs.

Filters are replaced proactively based on usage and system health — at no extra cost.

Service is automatically scheduled or can be requested via the app.

No. All service visits are included in the subscription.

Free Trial & Cancellation

Yes, SmartAqua offers a 7-day free trial.

Yes. You can cancel anytime during the trial period.

We collect the purifier and refund the ₹2,500 deposit after a condition check.

Refunds are typically processed within 7 working days after device collection.

Safety & Compliance

SmartAqua operates in alignment with applicable Indian water purification and safety standards.
